Dear Friends and Neighbors,
My name is Fritz Hegeman, and I am running for Andrew County Presiding Commissioner in 2026. It has been my pleasure to serve as your East District Commissioner for the past 9.5 years. I look forward to continuing to serve you as Presiding County Commissioner for another four years.
Community Service Experience
My parents, Don and Joan Hegeman, instilled in me a passion for community service. Over the years, my participation in various community service organizations is evidence of my dedication to Andrew County.
Accomplishments as Commissioner
During my tenure as commissioner, Andrew County has acquired a reputation for being a well-managed and professionally administered county, a fact that has been acknowledged by county commissions across Missouri. I have played a key leadership role in the implementation of a variety of policies and procedures that have influenced how our county operates.
Future County Issues
While I have made significant contributions to Andrew County in my role as County Commissioner, there are several issues that still need to be addressed. My ten years of experience in the County Commission and a successful campaign ensure continued progress in addressing these concerns.
When I first ran for Commissioner, I pledged to work hard for Andrew County. I have honored that pledge, and I am committed to renewing my promise for another term as your Presiding Commissioner. I can only accomplish this with your support on the August 4, 2026 ballot.

Accomplishments
As Andrew County East District Commissioner for the past 10 years, I’ve been able to address a wide range of concerns, from local infrastructure to county procedures to cybersecurity.
Issues
Over the years, I have watched Andrew County grow in meaningful ways, but our job as a Commission is not finished. As times change, so do the needs of our citizens and community.
